Many Lost Ark players consider the Valtan Legion Raid to be the beginning of the game's best end-game content. Additionally, it is among the most difficult works to be published to date. Those looking to clear this Legion Raid with as little stress as possible in their party will appreciate any advice that can be given. To help smooth the way, we've compiled a few of our favorite suggestions.
Nearly all attacks from a purple wolf are direct ones.
During the initial wolf encounter of the Legion raid, the wolf will divide in half. It's just you and the Purple Wolf at the start of the battle, between 50 and 45 HP bars. His attacks are mostly frontal, therefore staying at a distance or on his back flanks is the best strategy. Three assaults in particular, however, should be kept in mind by players. You may want to find where to get cheap Lost Ark gold to get success in the game than everyone.
After using the 360-Swipe attack, a safe zone will appear either close to the boss or far away.
Using a "+" and "x" pattern, a tornado releases three waves of four Shurikens that spiral outward. Other Stages also feature this type of assault.
Fragmented pools that appear beneath the player and then detonate quickly. As with the previous Phase, this assault is present in all subsequent ones as well.
A Panacea for What Ails You?
It is recommended that you equip the consumable Battle Item Panacea on your fast bar in preparation for the raid. This will remove several potentially game-changing debuffs from the encounter. Its primary usage is to mitigate damage sustained by you and your raid, but it may also be utilized to circumvent the boss's mechanics and increase damage dealt. It's most useful in these three situations:
During Phase 1's Red Wolf Phase, while a player's health is between 45 and 30 bars, the boss inflicts a bleeding debuff that slowly chips away at their health. This debuff has a maximum stack of 3, and on the third application, an Area of Effect assault will occur, severely damaging anybody in its path.
Valtan's second phase involves the appearance of four blue orbs, two at each corner of the arena, surrounded by concentric red telegraphs. Once a player comes into contact with one of these orbs, they will be affected by a debuff that makes them more vulnerable to damage.
Phase 2 also features Valtan's counterable strike, which renders its victim speechless if they fail to effectively defend themselves. It's recommended that affected players get some distance from the group, as the debuff has a tendency to spread.
Aiming the Sidereal Power of Thirain to Inflict Twice the Harm
Using the Sidereal Power from Thirain, you can speed up the period where the Wolf Boss separates into two bosses, a Blue wolf and a Red wolf. Thirian's attacks follow a specific path, as you can see. It is possible to damage both bosses with this ability, however this depends on how the bosses are located and where the raid leader is when they use it.
Using taunt-based abilities can assist get the bosses in a row for a clean shot with Thirain. If your raid doesn't have a Gunlancer or a Berserker, you can still employ a taunt by calling upon the "Shout of Hatred" ability of either class or the "Endure Pain" ability of the Taunt Tripod.
Ingenious Cure Cancels Out Orb Mechanic
Splendid Panacea, a superior variant of Panacea, is a Battle Item. For the duration of the ability's two-second cooldown, you are immune to debuffs. The Blue and Red Orb mechanics at 30 and 15 HP Bars, respectively, can benefit greatly from this. To avoid a debuff, players typically touch one orb each, in a specified order. During the duration of the debuff, they will be instantaneously destroyed upon making contact with any other orb.
You can absorb the orbs without taking any damage if you use a Splendid Panacea right before they reach you. Therefore, a straightforward tactic for this mechanism is to have a single player stand at the boss while the rest of the players remain far away. The orb collector utilizes a Splendid Panacea right before completing their task. Everyone can safely Stagger the boss once the orbs have been gathered, and if you want even more stagger, utilize the Sidereal: Wei.
Staying Away From The Anxiety Machine
The Wolf Boss will revert to its solitary Purple Wolf form in its last phase, when its health drops to below 30 bars. A player, usually the one who is the farthest away from the boss, will be terrified around once every two minutes and will be the victim of a catastrophic attack.
To raise the Sidereal Mark, collect Blue Orbs.
The second phase of the encounter with Valtan requires players to destroy the arena's pillars in order to escape the area-of-effect attacks. Most players utilize a counterclockwise path that begins at 3 o'clock and continues around the arena's walls and pillars to destroy them. As he smashes the pillars holding the blue orbs, they fall to the ground. Those who interact with the orbs are given a temporary buff that protects them from a later death mechanic.
To ensure that each player only touches one orb, less experienced groups will use the Sidereal Power of Balthorr. Using the Sidereal Power ofThirain to deal more damage and end the battle faster is possible if everyone is safe while completing this mechanism.
